INTERNET BAN IN KASHMIR
Is banning the internet in Kashmir a human-rights violation (yet) ?
The tales of Kashmiri misery have been depicted, portrayed and thrown to ashtray since the beginning of the Kashmiri development era itself. Nevertheless were humans considered mannequins made solely for the purpose of disciplining the mass living a geographical area which to the (ill-luck of millions of Kashmiri's) luck of the occupier was a tactical advantage over Pakistan (arch-rival) , China (Known-enemy) and Afghanistan (that name brings shivers).
Almost 70 years of unrest and biological violence between man and man has made Kashmir an epitome of resistances in the world but is the boat going anywhere?
Let's see:
1947- Own PM
1960's- Puppet CM
1980's - Lying CM
2016- Puppet CM
Nothing much has changed since 1960's or has it?
Let's see:
Thousands dead
Thousands Orphaned
Thousands molested
Thousands missing.
Plus points for population control. Right?
Kashmiri's have been known to be cut-off from the rest of India. While Indians enjoy free calling and 4G on Jio, we Kashmiris tend to enjoy pellets in backs and bullets in the front.
over 70 days of shutdown and curfew could be ignored but can the communicational blockade be forgiven?
The Internet connects families from all over the world. The Internet is required for transactions , shopping, and even as an income source for most of the new fledgling generation of employed men and women.
I'll leave the rest to the imagination of the readers and stop writing.
'cause there's always a threat of being called an 'anti-national'
Stay classy.
